VoiceObjects Phone Application Server
Target group: Anyone interested in state-of-the-art phone applications will benefit from this overview of how to use VoiceObjects Server to deploy and manage phone self-service applications.
Content: This course introduces the most advanced phone application server framework available on the market today. Through many hands-on, practical and interactive exercises, participants get a thorough understanding of the advantages of the VoiceObjects architecture and components. Using VoiceObjects Desktop and a basic set of our object-based dialog building blocks, participants develop and manage a phone application. Several demos — including VoiceObjects Analyzer and text or video-based phone applications — complete the overview about VoiceObjects-based service execution and management.

Development of Voice Applications for VoiceObjects Server
Target group: Consultants, application developers (voice / video), system integrators. This course qualifies you to apply for a VoiceObjects Certified Application Developer (Voice) certification.
Content: This course is a more technical continuation of the training from VoiceObjects Phone Application Server. During intensive, hands-on exercises, many different dialog objects are introduced and added to an expanding, increasingly complex application. The course agenda includes a broad scope of special sessions, including but not limited to sessions addressing grammar and audio resources, back-end integration, and application testing and user management on VoiceObjects Server.
Duration: 3 days
Prerequisites: Experience from VoiceObjects Phone Application Server is required. Programming experience and basic technical knowledge is recommended, but not required.

Development of Text and Mobile Web Applications for VoiceObjects Server
Target group: Consultants, application developers (USSD / mobile web), system integrators.
Content: During this course, participants learn how to use VoiceObjects Server to create and deploy text-based applications for the additional phone channels USSD and/or mobile web. While the user interface is quite straightforward compared to the voice or video channel, many features and development techniques can be leveraged for text-based channels. Finally, participants learn best practices for multiple-channel application management based on VoiceObjects.
Duration: 2 days
Prerequisites: Experience from VoiceObjects Phone Application Server is required. Basic knowledge of HTML is recommended, but not required.

VoiceObjects Best Practices
Target group: Consultants, application developers, system integrators.
Content: As an extension of Development of Voice Applications for VoiceObjects Server, this course covers more advanced dialog objects (such as List, Collection, and Plug-In) in greater detail, and participants engage in additional practical exercises. The course also focuses on special topics, including but not limited to CTI and media platform integration, and offers a host of best practices and tips from which participants can immediately benefit in their company’s VoiceObjects environment.

Grammar Development
Target group: Application designers and developers, consultants.
Content: Choose this course to learn everything you need for voice and DTMF grammar development. After an introduction to W3C standards-based grammar definition (Speech Recognition Grammar Specification) and semantic interpretation (Semantic Interpretation for Speech Recognition) you will not only learn how to create initial grammar sets easily, but also how to efficiently test, analyze and improve your grammars. During practical sessions you will create, test, tune and export a multi-rule sample grammar based on the leading Nu Echo grammar development IDE, which is also available as an Eclipse plug-in. You will also see how to link the NuGram IDE with other VoiceObjects components and some use cases for dynamic and statistical grammars.

Infostore and VoiceObjects Analyzer
Target group: Consultants, application developers, system administrators, business analysts.
Content: This course teaches participants how to use Infostore and VoiceObjects Analyzer, powerful, real-time data collecting, reporting and analysis solutions. The first training day provides a solid introduction to Infostore, the system logging repository of VoiceObjects Server. Instruction includes an explanation of the Infostore data model at all levels, from call data to module data to input states and recordings. You’ll also learn how to import and integrate external data from sources such as custom logging or CRM systems.

During the second training day, you’ll learn how to analyze these data and how to produce reports using Analyzer. Instruction includes an introduction to Analyzer standard reports, as well as to customization and creation of your own individual reports when you use the underlying business intelligence tool.

Infostore can also be attended as a one-day stand-alone course, but is required before attending the Analyzer day.
Duration: 2 days (or 1 day for Infostore only)
Prerequisites: VoiceObjects Phone Application Server is required. Experience with the respective business intelligence tool is expected during the second training day.

Installation and Maintenance of VoiceObjects
Target group: Consultants, system administrators, technical support. This course qualifies you to apply for a VoiceObjects Certified System Administrator certification.
Content: This course explains all administrative and operational aspects of VoiceObjects, including sizing, installation and configuration of VoiceObjects Server, cluster management and basic support processes. Demos and practical, hands-on exercises address VoiceObjects Installer, administration using the Control Center and troubleshooting techniques.
Duration: 2 days
Prerequisites: VoiceObjects Phone Application Server is required. Development of Voice Applications for VoiceObjects Server is recommended, but not required. Basic knowledge in system and network administration is recommended, but not required.

Target group: Operational staff, system administrators.
Content: This course is for the operational staff that is responsible for ensuring a smooth and error-free operation of VoiceObjects Server, for troubleshooting and for providing first-level support. Whenever possible, the course emphasizes questions and issues experienced in the specific system environment and phone applications of the participants.

Target group: Application developers, system integrators, third-party tool vendors.
Content: If you’d like to use your own develop-ment environment, but still leverage all VoiceObjects Server advantages, then find out in this course how to use the Web Services Interface to VoiceObjects Server as well as the XML Development Kit. Using VoiceObjects Desktop for Eclipse or your own Eclipse-based IDE, you’ll learn how to use XDK for development and deployment scenarios.

Target group: Anyone interested in an overview of state-of-the-art user interface design for phone applications.
Content: During this practice-oriented training you’ll work on a sample project through all design phases. In addition, you’ll learn to transfer your voice application to other phone channels such as video, text or mobile web.
