The company today manages a total fund volume of over $500 million. To date, Wellington has invested in over 85 companies, selling a third of them at a profit, in seven cases through an IPO.
TeleSoft Partners
TeleSoft Partners is a venture capital firm founded by Arjun Gupta in 1996. Based in
Silicon Valley, TeleSoft manages capital commitments of $625+ million in TeleSoft-1,
TeleSoft-2 and related side funds. Over the last thirteen years, TeleSoft and its
principals have funded and helped build 59 companies, resulting in 27 mergers &
acquisitions and IPOs to date with a combined current market equity valuation or cash
equivalent of ~$17 billion, and 16 remaining companies. Based on the private equity
IRR data (disclosed by CalPers, CalSTRS, University of California, University of
Michigan, UTIMCO and Washington State) on ~600 private equity funds from 1981-
2002, the track record of TeleSoft and its principals has consistently been in the top
10% of the industry. Arjun was ranked #19 by Forbes Magazine in the Top-100
technology venture investors on the 2006 Midas List.
T-Com Venture Fund
The T-Com Venture Fund was established in 2004 and is managed by T-Venture, the venture capital arm of Deutsche Telekom. The T-Com Venture Fund (50 Million Euros) supports T-Com, Deutsche Telekom's fixed-network provider, in executing their corporate objectives. T-Com is one of the largest carriers in Europe.
