VoiceObjects Factory for automated voice applications in the Call Center

Bergisch Gladbach, January 13, 2003 – VoiceObjects AG is exhibiting at this year‘s CallCenter World in hall 1, stand 1D/9A the latest version of its software solution for the simple and rapid development and the cost-effective operation of automated voice applications in the Call Center field in the form of VoiceObjects Factory 1.5.

Lego principle
VoiceObjects AG is the sole vendor worldwide to offer a so-called Open Voice Application Platform (OVAP). This makes possible the development and operation of voice applications of any desired degree of complexity. Working on the principle of Lego blocks, developers can assemble the individual constituent parts of a voice application from so-called VoiceObjects. The dialog modules that have been generated in this way can be used and also reused for all kinds of voice applications.

This manufacturer-independent software supports standards such as VoiceXML and SALT and can be run on operating systems and with database platforms from a large number of different vendors.

More service, low costs
“The challenge for the operator of a Call Center today is to improve service quality while at the same time reducing costs. Simple information queries such as “account balance” up to complex transactions such as “money transfer” can already be handled today without any problems by means of voice applications,” explains Tiemo Winterkamp, Head of Product Strategy & Research of VoiceObjects AG. “This not only saves personnel costs within the Call Center, but also makes more time available to the staff there to provide advice and consulting, and it also greatly reduces the waiting times for callers,” continues Winterkamp.
