I want to take a moment to thank all our partners and customers for helping make this a great year for us. VoiceObjects has been changing the face of customer service to meet the demands of a new generation of consumer. As I reflect on the year, it's clear that personalized phone self-service is no longer optional, but essential, because the era of generic IVR is over.
Consumers lead fast-paced lives, yet want to be treated like individuals when they connect with businesses. Enter the Mobile Phone Generation, demanding no less than highly interactive, round-the-clock, personalized service that feels human and exponentially extends the social networking activities new consumers engage in with every connection they make, anywhere, anytime. To capture the mind- and marketshare of this generation, VoiceObjects customers have embarked on unprecedented personalization makeovers of their voice portals— with voice personas, custom menus and randomized prompting that make call interactions fresh, user-friendly and effective—to a degree that raises the bar for customer service across industries and continents. Personalization increases phone self-service adoption, and our customers confirm that caller satisfaction has climbed impressively.
The indispensable infrastructure to make this possible is the phone application server. It provides instant access to business intelligence as well as front and back office data through Web services. It enables personalization, preference management, targeted advertising and one-to-one marketing. With carrier grade service delivery, the server can deliver voice, video, text, and graphics. Applications can be designed once, deployed anywhere. Changes are just clicks away, with time and resources saved to direct to high value efforts. The benefits of personalization, enabled by VoiceObjects family of products, go hand in hand with cost-effectiveness—improved application management, scaled applications to field an unlimited number of calls, and smooth back-end integration that leverages IT resources and cuts maintenance time significantly, often to 1/10th previously required.
I look forward to telling you more how personalization is reinventing automated phone service. And as busy as our lives get, we at VoiceObjects believe that rewards will come to those companies who make the effort to connect with people in meaningful, compelling ways. I wish you all—our customers, partners and friends—a wonderful holiday and prosperous New Year 2007.
Sincerely,

Beatriz V. Infante
