July 2007
To our valued customers, partners, investors & friends of VoiceObjects:
I’m proud to report that VoiceObjects’ accomplishments this past quarter underscore the game-changing power of the Mobile Phone Generation. Mobile consumers don’t just talk on their phone, they really live on their phone --- talking, banking, searching, navigating the Web and entertaining themselves. And we at VoiceObjects know that this emerging mobile experience, of life on the phone, is redefining expectations of service accessibility on next-generation self-service phone portals, as well as consumer expectations of self-service flexibility.
When mobile consumers connect with self-service phone portals, they want those phone portals to behave as if they are professional, customer-centric people backed up by the powerful, lightning-fast benefits of technology. Consumers are saying to phone portals, “Remember me”: interact with me based on my identity, interaction history, account entitlements and interests. They’re saying, “Adapt to me”: in real time, personalize my interaction, advertise to me based on my interests, and route me to my preferred channel of touch-tone, voice, video, text or mobile Web. They’re saying, “Never fail me”: serve me anytime, anywhere, because my time is important, and I’m paying you. These three tenets create phone portal success for both companies and customers. VoiceObjects’ prowess in delivering on this promise attracts partners, customers and industry leaders.
New Partner Highlights
This quarter, VoiceObjects signed an extensive OEM agreement with Excelsis Business Technology AG, a leading provider of speech portals and voice solutions in Europe. Excelsis will use VoiceObjects technology as its primary development and operating platform to leverage Excelsis’ industry-specific voice offerings. Excelsis enjoys a proven track record of voice solutions for financial services companies, government, transportation companies, public utilities and pay-TV providers, as well as intersectional software for information systems, customer management and help desk automation.
Customer Highlights: Kabel BW & TELUS
We’re especially excited that our partner-focused strategy in EMEA led to a fast, key customer win with Germany’s Kabel Baden-Württemberg. VoiceObjects and Excelsis teamed up to win over Kabel BW, which has more than 2.3 million customers, offers “triple-play” service that includes cable TV, broadband Internet, and telephone, and provides cable networks in Germany and throughout Europe. Kabel BW leverages VoiceObjects inside the Excelsis offering as the technology for its new self-service phone portals.
Among our other new customers in Q2, VoiceObjects welcomes telecommunications titan TELUS. TELUS is a leading national telecom company in Canada, and it provides a wide range of communications products and services including data, Internet protocol (IP), voice, entertainment and video.
Awards & Reports
VoiceObjects’ groundbreaking phone application server --- the lynchpin of individualized, adaptive self-service phone portals --- received the prestigious Communications Solutions 2006 Product of the Year Award from Technology Marketing Corporation, whose award highlights vision, leadership and attention to detail. Not surprisingly, VoiceObjects’ innovation and excellence in technological advancement and application refinement carried the day, as well as our commitment to high-impact, quality solutions that companies and customers value.
Not to be outdone, VoiceObjects Analyzer, our powerful analytics package, earned best-of-breed distinction by Opus Research. Analyzer’s competition included analytics frameworks offered by Cisco, Nuance/ClickFox and Vicorp. Analyzer complements our server by providing a complete service analysis environment that may be used throughout an enterprise to evaluate system usage, performance, caller behavior and recognition success, all of which supply timely, actionable insights.
VoiceObjects also took home an IMS Leadership Award. esteeming our contribution to the exponential growth in IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) solutions. With its open standards architecture, the VoiceObjects product family was recognized as an optimal way for service providers to deploy and manage sophisticated applications over fixed or wireless networks.
