VoiceObjects
A letter from VoiceObjects' CEO

May 2007

Beatriz Infante, President & CEO, VoiceObjectsTo our valued customers, partners, investors and friends of VoiceObjects:

Our achievements from last quarter show once again that VoiceObjects is raising the bar for meeting the needs of the Mobile Generation, the new consumers who want to connect anytime, anywhere, on any phone channel --- and fast. Our recent launch of the VoiceObjects 7 suite of products places us at the forefront of multi-channel phone application deployment, allowing our customers to have unprecedented adaptability of service and cost-effectiveness of delivery. I am especially pleased that VoiceObjects Analyzer, our powerful analytics package unmatched in the industry, was awarded best-of-breed distinction by Opus Research versus its competition. Our products, partnerships and certifications all work together to allow our customers to continuously improve their phone portals' functionality and appeal to the Mobile Generation.

VoiceObjects 7
As the phone application server has become the essential force for creating and maintaining sophisticated voice applications, our customers need the ability to repurpose any application to any phone channel with ease and confidence and without having to rewrite a single line of code. VoiceObjects 7 supports phone applications that use voice, video, text, touch-tone, and Web interfaces, and applications designed with VoiceObjects for any of those channels may be quickly and easily extended to use any of the others. VoiceObjects' comprehensive support for all major operating systems, databases, Web application servers, and media platforms protects customers' existing and future infrastructure investments and promotes IT flexibility.

Analytics
Companies often lack real-time visibility into their data and sensible reporting frameworks to present and evaluate information. Enter VoiceObjects Analyzer, which Opus Research deemed superior to analytics offered by Cisco, Nuance/ClickFox, and Vicorp. Analyzer, a complete service analysis environment, may be used throughout an enterprise to answer a wide array of questions related to system usage, system and application performance, caller behavior, and recognition success. Its support for IVR systems and underlying databases, real-time logging, 48 pre-built reports, and out-of-the-box support for popular business intelligence software provide timely, actionable insights.

Customer Highlights: ONE Austria & Vodafone Ireland
VoiceObjects continues to attract new customers who are changing the face of customer service through their self-service phone portals and presenting wide-ranging, cutting-edge services on phone networks. Of particular note, we added two new mobile phone carriers, each with nearly 2 million customers. ONE Austria offers the only nationwide GSM-1800 mobile telephony network in Austria and has a unique focus on music. Vodafone Ireland, which has more than 50% of the market share in Ireland and almost 90% penetration of the country's mobile market, is part of the Vodafone Group, the world's largest mobile community.

Partner Highlights: SAP & Oracle
In a move that will increase the use of the phone as a channel to enterprise applications, SAP will be integrating VoiceObjects’ phone application server technology into SAP NetWeaver®. The technology will enable easy input and access to SAP® applications via the telephone as well as enable voice-driven applications to be deployed without back-end modification or new middleware. Business process analysts, rather than technical staff, can manage these applications. Oracle Service Delivery Platform (SDP) builds on the high performance and high availability capabilities of Oracle Fusion Middleware and Oracle's grid infrastructure. VoiceObjects will leverage Oracle SDP to enable customers to deploy open-standards-based, revenue-generating services, such as cross-selling, in IP multimedia subsystem (IMS) environments.

Certifications: Nortel, Avaya & Aspect
VoiceObjects also met the rigorous certification standards of outstanding telephony companies to demonstrate easy, cost-saving interoperability and support for call-time personalization and multimodal phone applications. VoiceObjects Server is now certified for Nortel Media Processing Server using an industry-standard VoiceXML interface. Avaya has certified VoiceObjects as compatible with Avaya Interaction Response 2.0 as well as with Avaya Voice Portal 3.0. Aspect Software has certified VoiceObjects as compatible with the Aspect® Customer Self Service™ voice portal application using the Nuance OpenSpeech Recognizer speech recognition engine.

Finally, I'm delighted to report that INTERNET TELEPHONY magazine has bestowed VoiceObjects with a 2006 Product of the Year Award. According to the magazine, VoiceObjects has proven it is committed to quality and excellence while addressing real needs in the marketplace. We couldn't agree more, and I look forward to sharing next quarter's achievements with you.

Best regards,

Beatriz V. Infante
