Territories: Southeast and/or Western U.S.

VoiceObjects is an exciting new company that is in the business of redefining over-the-phone customer self-service. The applications deliver self-service phone portals that enable organizations to personalize each caller’s experience, to integrate phone self-service into comprehensive strategies for improving the customer experience, and to manage the complexity of the world’s most sophisticated phone applications. Known as the phone application server company, VoiceObjects aims to be the BEA or Websphere for phone-based systems worldwide.

Responsibilities

  • Drive sales of the company’s full range of products and services into the target markets.
  • Expert analysis of the market and evaluation of business opportunities.
  • Accurate identification of decision makers at all levels within target accounts.
  • High priority on qualification of leads and the ability to generate new leads within the target markets.
  • Effectively present product solutions, identify customer concerns and formulate mitigating proposals to address the identified concerns.
  • Negotiate contracts that meet company guidelines, while maintaining a trusted advisor status with target customers.
  • Establish long-term partnerships with customers.
  • Contribute to VoiceObjects Brand Image as a Trusted Advisor and Preferred Supplier.
  • Extensive travel is required.

Essential Skills, Experience & Education

  • 5 to 10 years successful direct sales to call center executives proven by significant wins in the space that are identifiable.
  • Experience at or selling to one of the key companies in the call center world with an understanding of VoiceXML and IVR technology.
  • Sold concepts and services and has a proven by ability to grasp new concepts.
  • Demonstrated increasing deal size over career history and is evident by the accomplishments listed on the candidates resume.
  • Proven success by achieving, or over-achieving plan.
  • Successful small company experiences and the ability to understand issues such as, less support, no market presence, etc.
  • Personality type should clearly be Hunter/Driver mentality.
  • Salesforce.com CRM experience a plus
